2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Somewhat Helpful but Typos are Distracting By Andrew S I took the October 2015 PE structural exam. This book was somewhat helpful and had some questions that were similar to exam questions. However, if you try to take this exam as a timed practice a few days before the exam, it will be very discouraging. Many questions are poorly worded and much more obscure and difficult than you'll find on the exam. The formatting of the text is very poor and distracting, especially when some answers are scattered throughout the questions when you're trying to take a practice run through the exam. It seems as if this book was typed up using Word, clip art was thrown in, no editing or review occurred, and then the Word document was just sent off to the publisher "as-is". Typos are rampant, and several answers in the key have mistakes. Don't pretend like this is a sample exam because it's not. Just use it get a better understanding of what may show up on the exam.

This was the first resource I bought and used it for diagnostic - gauge where I was. I did poorly on the test which was good because I began to go read extensively on the topics covered in the questions. I passed my PE Exam. This is a great book. Thank you Dr. Goswami
