Decent Review Book By lauren e I bought this book to review for the certification exam and to help me with my studying during the last 2 semesters of my program. It is pretty good. The pages are thick enough that they can handle being highlighted without bleeding though too much to the other side (very important for study materials!). The information in each section is decent, and there are several questions. However, there are no explanations/rationale for the answers, so that's a missed opportunity for learning. There is minimal information on pharmacology, but I'm trusting them that it has what we need to know. It's not what you'd want to use to study for a pharmacology exam, though. Overall, I'm glad I got it, but it certainly won't be the only study guide I use!

7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. good content By anna The content in the book is a great review. My only complaint is the layout of some of the review sections. ie: instead of listing all of the developmental milestones for a 2 yr old it organizes it by types of development.....so it will list all of the fine motor development for every age then go and list all of the gross motor for every age. It kinda jumps around with points. Overall a good review though.

By DallasRN83 I used this book for my PNP Boards with PNCB and let me just say it was so useful, so much information in this orange book and so much of it was on the exam. I can't encourage enough how this book should be on every PNP Programs book list as a required to study. A wealth of information and now I am exciting to say I practice as CPNP !!!!
