The different historical events are linked, which makes it easy to retain the information and understand the relationships. The language is clear and I actually enjoy reading it. Very useful book to use during the course and will serve me as a good study tool before the exam.

Nice layout and easy to understand the major points from the book. I use the book as a preparation for class exams and to get a great grasp of the important topics for US History. Glad I got this book and use it each week. My sister had another book from a few yeas ago. I looked through hers and I like the layout and content of this book more. I feel that I get more out of class time since I have a stronger foundation from reading this book on my own.
